Musical hero Willy Mason played to his roots on Martha’s Vineyard Saturday evening, headlining a free concert.

DCLA plays this weekend with two Falmouth groups, Crooked Coast and the Taxidermists, to help out a couple of local skateparks.

On Saturday, WUMB 91.9 FM is coming to the Island to host its first even member concert here, held at The Loft in Oak Bluffs.

Mezzo-soprano Lia Kahler performs on Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown as a benefit for homelessness and veterans.
