With ridership cratering on the Vineyard route and financial losses looming, SSA general manager Robert Davis said the reduced ferry schedule will remain in effect through May 5.

No new coronavirus cases were reported as of Tuesday, the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital said. In a morning briefing, hospital spokesman Katrina Delgadillo said the hosital had performed 101 tests to date. There are currently eight confirmed cases on the Island.
Construction bans enacted on the Vineyard and Nantucket will remain in place, following a conference call Sunday with officials from both Islands and spokesmen for Governor Baker.
