More than 50 people gathered at the Federated Church in Edgartown Wednesday morning to honor Jean Lewellyn of Vineyard Haven with the Spirit of the Vineyard award.

On Saturday, the day after Jake Baird, a senior at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, died in a car accident, a large group of friends, teachers and mentors gathered at Alex's Place to remember him.
