Cassidy Christian and John Boyt were joyfully united in marriage on May 22 in Edgartown during a northeaster — a meaningful coincidence, as the couple first met on Martha’s Vineyard during a similar storm.

The Vineyard holds a very special place in their hearts. Mr. Boyt spent his childhood summers in East Chop while Ms. Christian has long cherished Edgartown. The couple now share a home in Edgartown and spend their summers on the Island.

Cassidy and John divide their time between Palm Beach, Fla. and Martha’s Vineyard.

A celebration party will be held this fall at the Boathouse in Edgartown to toast the couple amongst cherished family and friends.

With full hearts, the couple begins this new chapter together.
