Faith Community Church announced this week that it has hired Joseph Lukins as pastor. He will start work this coming Sunday, Oct. 27.

Faith Community Church announced this week that it has hired Joseph Lukins as pastor. Pastor Lukins earned his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill., and his master of divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, N.C.

He will start work this coming Sunday, Oct. 27. He and his wife Emily and family will make their home in Oak Bluffs.

Faith Community Church is a non-denominational congregation meeting at 10 a.m. Sundays at 231 Meetinghouse Way, Edgartown.
