Marvelous miniature mermaids merge in movement on Martha’s Vineyard making music and merriment and maybe mayhem.

In other words, the Martha’s Vineyard School of Ballet is presenting The Little Mermaid featuring members of Atlantic Coast Ballet dancing with the Vineyard’s own. Approximately 30 Island kids will transform themselves into twinkle-toed mermaids, fish, eels, cooks and sea gulls. The performance was created by the team of artistic director Beth Vages and choreographer Tanya Vincent and takes place on Sunday, June 5 at 3 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at the regional high school.

Tickets are $10 at the door.
