<p>The Martha&rsquo;s Vineyard Concert Series announced its lineup of shows for the 2018 Summer Concert season.</p>

The Martha’s Vineyard Concert Series has announced its lineup of shows for the 2018 Summer Concert season. This will be the third year on the Island for the series, curated by Adam Epstein and Chicago-based live event producer Innovation Arts & Entertainment

This summer will include 12 shows featuring music and comedy, headlined by Mavis Staples who will perform on Tuesday, August 14 at the Performing Arts Center as part of the WMVY’s 35th anniversary celebration.

Other headliners include Cowboy Junkies, Deer Tick, Toots and the Maytals, Keb Mo, Patty Griffin, The Mavericks, David Sedaris and Paula Poundstone.

The series begins on July 9 with the David Bromberg Quintet and concludes on August 21 with Black Violin.

Jeff Bartlett Grand Rapids Mich.

Mavis Staples opened for Bob Dylan here last October and really put on a great show. Great band and backup singer she'll "Take You There", wish I could attend sounds like a great lineup for this summer, enjoy.
