<p>The Chilmark farmer and chef and actress-comedian were married in a private ceremony in Malibu on Feb. 13. Social media was buzzing.
Gossip columns and social media were buzzing this week over the marriage of Chilmark farmer and Island chef Chris Fischer to the actress and comedian Amy Schumer.
A fourth generation Islander, Mr. Fischer grew up on the Vineyard and is the son of Albert O. Fischer 3rd of West Tisbury and the late Jeannie Wallace Fischer. He is part owner of Beetlebung Farm in Chilmark and has worked as a chef in California, New York and on the Island. His 2015 Beetlebung Farm Cookbook won a James Beard award in 2016.
Ms. Schumer is a stand-up comedian, actress, writer and producer who stars in the Comedy Central sketch series Inside Amy Schumer.
They were married in a private ceremony in Malibu on Feb. 13.
