Bunch of Grapes Bookstore Will Move to New Main Street Location

After nearly five years in its current location at 35 Main street in Vineyard Haven, Bunch of Grapes Bookstore is relocating down the block into the two-story building formerly occupied by Juliska.

After nearly five years in its current location at 35 Main street in Vineyard Haven, Bunch of Grapes Bookstore is relocating down the block to 23 Main street, into the two-story building formerly occupied by Juliska.

The independent bookstore has been a Main street mainstay since it opened in 1964, in its original location across the street.

The store will stay open at its current location until Saturday, April 8, with plans to reopen at 23 Main street no later than Monday, May 1. Juliska, an upscale homegood store, announced that it was closing its Vineyard Haven store last September.

The new Bunch of Grapes layout will include adult books on the first floor, and gifts and children’s books on the second floor. The store will continue to host author readings during the summer and shoulder seasons.

Mary Gordon opens the season with a reading on June 9 in the new building. Alexandra Fuller will read on July 7.

Does this mean the Juliska store is closing? Is Vineyard Vines going into Bunch of Grapes?

They are moving into a much smaller space and back to 2 floors which they did not like before they moved to the one floor location. More to this story and up to us to guess.
