On Saturday, July 30, we were in a serious moped accident on Barnes Road. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the quick thinking bystanders, first responders, EMTs and the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital for the incredible care we received that day. Despite the tragic circumstances, we immediately knew we were in good hands. We feel very fortunate to be here today, and we are so grateful to all who helped save our lives.

I was caught in the traffic that surrounded your accident. None of us knew what was happening but we knew it was serious. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
