Forbes Travel Guide has named the Charlotte Inn in Edgartown a four-star hotel for 2016. The prestigious annual travel guide and star ratings were released this week. Formerly the Mobil Travel Guide, the Forbes guide issues its rating system for hotels throughout the world. Five stars is the top designation. The Charlotte Inn, located on South Summer street in Edgartown, is among 411 other hotels to earn a four-star rating. Owned By Gerret and Paula Conover, the inn is housed in a small collection of meticulously maintained historic buildings that have long been known for their old-world elegance. The inn is also a Relais & Châteaux member, and houses The Terrace restaurant.
