Susan Mercier joins Martha’s Vineyard Community Services as the new Island Wide Youth Collaborative program coordinator. Ms. Mercier has more than 10 years of management experience, including with Island boards, and as serving as member and chair of both the Edgartown and the regional high school committees.
Case managers, a family support worker and a licensed clinician, all expected to be hired by the end of March, will join Ms. Mercier at the collaborative. While short-term housing of the program will be in the current administration building, it will eventually be housed on the Community Services campus in a location adjacent to the YMCA and high school. The Island Wide Youth Collaborative will coordinate mental health and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, and young adults from ages nine to 26. For information, contact Mrs. Mercier at [email protected].
