I have said it before in a letter to the editors, and I will say it again. Don't be afraid of a little prick! The procedure to donate blood if fairly quick and almost painless; a moment of minor discomfort at worst. The act of donating blood is a grand, positive one with beyond-measure potential results, while being very easy to do. I have never understood why EVERYONE who can donate, doesn't donate. It takes about an hour, doesn't hurt, and you can (and likely will), save a life. If you donate, great and keep it up. If you don't, and can, try it- you will be surprised how easy, painless, and rewarding it is. See you...Tuesday!
