Tracey Demars and Brian K. Smith of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a son, Lukas Ryder Smith, born on May 22 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Lukas weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

Kevin and Elizabeth (Wilson) Deren of Milton announce the arrival of William Martin Deren on May 6. Elizabeth is the daughter of David and Susan Wilson of Oak Bluffs.

Cottage Museum Opens

The Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association’s Cottage Museum and Gift Shop at 1 Trinity Park in Oak Bluffs is open for the season, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

Lighthouse Open

The Edgartown Lighthouse will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday this weekend from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the lighthouse is $5 for adults and $4 for children under 12.

The lighthouse is closed for inclement weather.
