Leaders from the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital came before the Edgartown selectmen Monday to update the board on their substantial building project.

Gannon and Benjamin Marine Railway opened its doors Saturday for some shop talk, giving experienced boatbuilders and curious neighbors a glimpse of the historic boatyard.

Carl Walker, the longtime director of engineering and maintenance at the Steamship Authority, has had his position eliminated due to restructuring, the SSA said.
