Last Saturday evening Camp Jabberwocky performed Back to the Future, a theatrical reinterpretation of the 1985 movie.
Beginning this Thursday, Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs will be filled with the sounds of dancing feet, rhythmic drumming and thunderous applause as the Island gathers once again for the annual Built on Stilts dance festival.
Peter Simon recently unearthed an interview he did with Jerry Garcia in 1975 for WVOI, the precursor to radio station WMVY. He gave a copy of the tape to MVY radio, which will air parts of the interview Saturday at noon as part of a special to commemorate the anniversary of Mr. Garcia's death.
