Over 30 artists, sponsored by Island businesses, created fish-inspired pieces for Bass in the Grass, the annual derby celebration of creativity.

The Chamber Music Society will hold its Thanksgiving concert on Saturday, Nov. 26, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown.

Jemima James will be performing in a CD release concert on Friday, Nov. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pathways Living Room Studios.

The Pick of the Crop play festival takes place this weekend at the Grange Hall.

The Tisbury School will be performing Into the Woods on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19. Showtime is 7 p.m. both nights.

There will be a benefit concert for Standing Rock called Water is Life at the Chilmark Community Center on Saturday, Nov. 12.

This Saturday, Nov. 12, Elizabeth Straton returns to the Vineyard for a concert to celebrate the release of her fourth album.
