Bruce Boren, 74, died peacefully on Nov. 21.

Born on Nov. 6, 1951, in Oak Bluffs, Bruce was the son of the late Robert and Marion (Smith) Boren. Bruce was a 1970 graduate of Martha’s Vineyard High School. He is survived by his daughters, Makayla Boren of Sandwich, and Hailey (Boren) DeSousa and her husband, Evan DeSousa, of Fairhaven; and by his sister, Ann (Boren) Ross and her husband, Duncan Ross, of Oak Bluffs.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. at the PA Club, 137 Vineyard Ave, Oak Bluffs.
