“The beauty of this crawl is that there’s no stress,” she said. “Whoever can make it, makes it. We’re very lucky, because we have a lot of Halloween lovers on the Island, so we usually have a pretty good crowd.”

Bars in town will be ready with specialty drinks.

“They know we’re coming,” Ms. Topalieva said. “It’s actually really good for the businesses as well. For all these restaurants, we’re kind of giving them a little bit of a boost on a Thursday night.”

The crawl’s origins started with Ms. Topalieva and a handful of friends.

“They all came to my house for a party, and I was living on Circuit avenue,” she said. “We decided to make it actually a bar hop, and that’s how it all started. We all were dressed as zombies.”

She thanked the Oak Bluffs Association for their support in promoting the event.

“They recognize us as people who help the businesses around and it’s nice to be recognized by them,” Ms. Topalieva said. “It’s nice that they always have our backs, and they have been very helpful the last three years.”

Everyone is welcome to partake in the spooky fun.

“We always have fun with it,” she said. “We all walk and behave like zombies. We’re loud, scaring innocent people in a fun way.”
