We’re very happy to report that Turnip’s return to the shelter did not last long; she was scooped up by a family that just adores her. Congratulations Turnip! And all of the kittens have gone to their forever homes as well. It’s been a very good week for kittens.

With the temperatures cooling the ticks are coming back to life, so make sure to keep up to date with flea and tick treatments for your best friends.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit. Also, if anyone is in need of cat food, dog food, or a crate, we have plenty and are happy to share. The Island Food Pantry also has pet food for those in need.
