We’re sad to report that Turnip’s adoption was not the right fit, so she is our pet of the week. Turnip is a five-month-old, female tuxedo kitten.
We’re sad to report that Turnip’s adoption was not the right fit, so she is our pet of the week. Turnip is a five-month-old, female tuxedo kitten. This is a very sweet girl who has charmed the staff and volunteers. She can be shy at first but enjoys being held and snuggled. Turnip is an indoor cat who would be happiest in a home with no dogs. Come meet her, she’s a gem.
Also, up for adoption is Hickory, a four-year-old, gray and white male cat. Hickory is an indoor/outdoor cat, and a very friendly boy. And we also have three, eight-week-old kittens, a female and two males. The female, Carla, is white with dark tabby markings, Cinnamon is an orange and white male, and Calvin is gray tabby and whiter. If you’re interested in a kitten, hurry up these sweeties won’t last long.
At the nail clinic held last Saturday, 29 pets had their nails trimmed. Check back for the date of our next nail clinic.
With the temperatures cooling the ticks are coming back to life, so make sure to keep up to date with flea and tick treatments for your best friends.
We are also looking for jewelry donations for our next annual Garden Party. We will accept any type of jewelry in any condition. Donations should be dropped off at the Shelter during business hours.
