The Island Community Chorus begins a new semester of rehearsals at the Edgartown Public Library on Monday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m., preparing for its traditional holiday concerts on Dec. 6 and 7 at the Old Whaling Church.
The Island Community Chorus begins a new semester of rehearsals at the Edgartown Public Library on Monday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m., preparing for its traditional holiday concerts on Dec. 6 and 7 at the Old Whaling Church.
This year, the chorus will hold two welcoming and informational sessions for anyone interested in joining. The session take place Sept. 5 and Sept. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. They are an opportunity to meet music director Bill Peek and some of the chorus members, and to learn more about singing with the group.
The chorus will meet every Monday night this fall, skipping Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Oct. 13. Suggested dues for the semester are $40.
