Thank you all so much for the many wonderful birthday greetings, posts and phone calls for my August 3 birthday. I was stunned.
Thank you all so much for the many wonderful birthday greetings, posts and phone calls for my August 3 birthday. I was stunned. I received greetings from as far away as Australia, Albania, Brazil and Italy. Possibly more important to me is August 13, which is International Left Handers day. It is the only thing I have in common with Jimi Hendrix.
Famous ceramicists Jennifer McCurdy and Sarah Beyers have a show at the Louisa Gould gallery. Come marvel at their work. The reception for this exhibit, Inside the Curve, is Saturday, August 9 from 5 to 7 pm. Louisa always throws a great party.
On Sunday, August 10 head to the Tabernacle at 2 p.m. to hear Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock lead services.
Angela Murphy and her daughter, Mary Afton, spent a whirlwind two days in New York city seeing plays. Now they are back in Virginia, packing up for Mary Afton’s first year at college in southern Florida. Women on the move!
The news on Jakob-Burton-Sundman is that he is in rehab again in Falmouth. He would love to receive cards and notes. Please send them care of his mother, Betty Burton-Sundman, at P.O box 2641 VH 02568.. Jakob, we are wishing you the best.
The birthday bandwagon pulled along Gisele Nascimento, Scott Castro and DenimLace Bettencout on August 2; Barack Obama shared August 4 with Elaine Cohen- Klein; Deborah Marlin’s precious doggie, Sounder Swirl, turned 11 on August 5; and artist and camp director Pam Benjamin took the cake on August 6. Many happy returns.
