Photo entries for the 2026 calendar contest will be on display at the center CCC through Friday, August 22. Everybody gets to vote for their favorites.

The Chappy Community Center annual meeting is on Saturday, August 16 from 9 to 10 a.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate your support and appreciation for all of the activities and events the center is hosting this summer.

The Chappy Ferry steering committee will hold a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, August 13 starting at 4 p.m. On the agenda will be a presentation by the sea level rise adaptation consultants. The committee will also make a decision regarding curtailing use of the cut line during the time that the On Time 3 is out of service for maintenance and Coast Guard inspection this fall. The formal announcement and agenda will appear on the town website a couple of days prior to the meeting date.
