In the Pulpit With a Faithful Politician

Rev. Sen. Raphael Warnock will lead services at Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association’s Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs on Sunday, August 10, beginning at 2 p.m. 

Rev. Sen. Raphael Warnock will lead services at Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association’s (MVCMA) Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs on Sunday, August 10, beginning at 2 p.m. 

Entitled A Festival of Worship in Word and Song, the event is a collaboration between the MVCMA, Union Chapel and the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury. 

Senator Warnock is the senior pastor of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta and a United States Senator from Georgia. 

Guest musicians include Mark Miller, a music minister and renowned composer who directs a special Vineyard community choir for the service, and Brian Courtney Wilson, an award-winning gospel recording artist.

The event is free for the public, with a portion of the free-will offering going to the Island Food Pantry.
