The Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation invites nonprofit organizations serving the Island to apply for program-based funding through its 2025 Community & Impact Grants process. The application will be launched on Friday, August 8 and is due on Monday, Sept. 29 at noon.

The foundation encourages requests for new projects as well as continuing programs that offer creative solutions to emerging and persistent issues such as food and housing security, health services, environmental sustainability and access for people of any ability.

During the 2024 process, $530,000 was awarded to 46 nonprofits. The average award size was just over $11,000.

Awards will be announced in mid-November.
