Now that July Fourth has passed and the Island summer is in full swing, I feel compelled to express gratitude for all public-facing employees working on the Vineyard, especially those at the hospital, the Steamship Authority, grocery stores, pharmacies, libraries, post offices, banks and other year-round businesses.

The Island gets so much busier during the summer months, inevitably making these jobs more demanding. Thank you for being here for us! I truly appreciate you and your tireless efforts!
