Earl and Jacqueline LaBatt recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at a luncheon with their six children and spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Earl and Jacqueline LaBatt recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at a luncheon with their six children and spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Earl and Jackie (Lopes) were married on Nov. 14, 1959 in Vineyard Haven.

Jackie is a native of Martha’s Vineyard and was working at the Art Cliff Diner when she met Earl while he was stationed in Menemsha in the Coast Guard.

They now reside in Arlington, Vt.
