A rainy Saturday forecast is pushing the Ladyfest music festival indoors this weekend.

Organizers behind the event announced Friday that it will now take place inside the Ritz Cafe and Dos Mas. The festival,  a fundraiser for Connect to End Violence, was originally supposed to be on Circuit avenue.

“The weather has been going back and forth all day for tomorrow, so we’re just going to play it on the safe side and move indoors,” the festival wrote in a Facebook post Friday afternoon.

The move inside does mean there will be no street vendors, according to the festival, now in its seventh year. Bands will start playing in the Ritz at 5 p.m. and at Dos Mas at 5:15 p.m.
