As a service to the Island community, the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is offering a six-week-long puppy training course. Trainer Jeremy Jones will lead instruction for any puppies Islandwide in need of obedience training.

Classes will be held at the shelter, located at 1 Pennywise Path in Edgartown. The cost is $300 for the full course, which will take place at 9:30 a.m. on six consecutive Sundays starting Sept. 17. Call 508-627-8662 to register.
