The first First Friday event of the season is here. On June 2, Owen Park in Vineyard Haven turns into party central. The event begins at 4 p.m. in Owen Park and features live performances by Parrot Pandemonium and Lake of Autumn.

Over a dozen local artists and artisans will also be selling their wares, including Martha’s Vineyard Native, Deer Hill Studio and Hawkhouse to name a few.

At 9 p.m. the PathwaysArts silent disco begins on the beach.

First Friday fun continues throughout the summer on the first Friday of each month, through Oct. 6.
