The regional high school track and field team is hosting an April Fool’s day-ish 5K run on April 9. The run is real, no fooling, USATF certified and all. It begins at 10 a.m. in front of Washington Park in Oak Bluffs, and then winds through the hills and views of East Chop.

The cost is $25 per runner for pre-registration, $30 day of, with proceeds going to the high school track team’s purchase of uniforms, gear and race entry fees.

Race day registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
