A Year and a Week Later

A year and a week later after January 6, 2021.

A Year and a Week Later
     after January 6, 2021

Leaders made strong statements a year ago.
Mitt Romney called out, “...insurrection incited by the President of the
United States”
Mitch McConnell, “January 6th was a disgrace”
Lindsey Graham, “The President needs to understand that his actions were
the problem”
Kevin McCarthy, “The President bears responsibility”
In Thursday’s moment of remembrance, Liz Cheney stood alone
on the Republican side of the Chamber.
Where are those statesmen now?

Corporations suspended donations to election-denying Congress people.
Aflac American Airlines AT&T Boeing Cigna Comcast
Ford Gap General Electric General Motors Home Depot
Johnson & Johnson JetBlue Lockheed Martin Northrop Grumman
Pfizer PNC Southern Co Valero Walmart
Where are those CEOs now?

Voters elected state leaders who legislate to overrule their votes.
     Arizona Wisconsin
     Georgia Arkansas
     Pennsylvania Kansas
Where are those voters now?

It’s a year and a week later. There is
a dagger at the throat of Democracy.

The Big Lie persists. Voter rights
are attacked. It’s time. Now.

For citizens to boycott and march.

What happened on January 6, 2021 is far worse than how American soldiers were treated when they returned from Vietnam. I am outraged by Jan. 6, our Democracy, that hundreds of thousands of American soldiers laid down their lives for, was attacked. GOP leaders, especially, are spitting on the graves at Arlington National Cemetery by there inaction. As quoated from above, " There is a dagger at the throat of Democracy"
