The Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing and the Oak Bluffs Public Library host the Virtual Creative Writing and Literature Festival online from June 29 to July 3.

Events in the series include:

• June 29, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Festival Opening Night: fiction reading by Alexander Weinstein from Universal Love; conversation with Phong Nguyen
• June 30,  10 a.m. to noon: Alexander Weinstein Zoom Fiction Writing Workshop: The Writer & The Inner Critic
• July 1, 10 a.m. to noon: Christopher Citro Zoom Lyric Essay Writing Workshop: The Hermit Crab Essay
• July 2, 10 a.m. to noon: Samantha Tetangco Poetry Writing Workshop: Poetic Justice
• July 3, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Closing: Poetry reading with Christopher Citro and Samantha Tetangco & Conversation with John Howard
