Martha's Vineyard Community Services is one of 20 social service non-profits in Massachusetts to receive a $25,000 grant from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation, according to a press release from the foundation.

The funding is intended to help these organizations better serve their clients who are affected by Covid-19, according to the press release, which notes that MVCS has seen a steep increase in requests for emergency assistance with basic needs such as rent, diapers and household supplies.
