The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin road and shoulder work on State Road and Beach Road in Tisbury today, according to a notification from the department’s highway division that was posted on the town website.

The routine work, performed by Lynch Corp., will comprise sweeping and blowing the roads and shoulders between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and is expected to take three weeks. Police officers will be on hand to manage traffic flow, according to the notification.
