The Martha’s Vineyard Community Seed Library is sponsoring a seed giveaway on the steps of the West Tisbury Public Library starting April 17 at 10 a.m., according to a library announcement.

Heirloom flower, vegetable, fruit and herb seeds, saved by community members and donated to the seed library, will be available while supplies last.

Gardeners are asked to select only the seeds they need, using clean, gloved hands, and to save seeds from their 2020 crops to replenish the library in the fall.
