The Chilmark Preschool is offering emergency exempt child care services for all eligible emergency workers, essential workers and vulnerable families, seven days a week.

The Chilmark Preschool is offering emergency exempt child care services for all eligible emergency workers, essential workers and vulnerable families, according to an announcement from school director Anja May.

“We are fully licensed and operating under the provisions for this service created by Governor Baker and EEC temporary policy,” Ms. May wrote in a statement.

Chilmark Preschool staff also will provide application paperwork, go over eligibility requirements and support families in finding appropriate non-group child care within social distancing guidelines, according to the announcement. Child care is available seven days of the week from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for children aged 2.9 to 13 years.
