Grant Pertile of Edgartown and his Bryant University tennis teammates won their fifth straight Northeast Conference Title on April 22 at the Mercer Park Tennis Complex in New Jersey.

Grant began his tennis career at the Vineyard Youth Tennis Center and earned a starting doubles position during his freshman year at Bryant University. He and his doubles partner Luke Lorenz achieved a record of 16-5 they year.

The team plays in the Division 1 NCAA tournament on May 11-13.
