Gerald Jeffers of Chappaquiddick is recuperating in a room with a window at a Boston hospital following recent injuries from a car accident. Peter Wells, who recently paid a visit, reports that Mr. Jeffers is stable and out of the intensive care unit but remains in a restricted visitation.

Gerry’s daughters Gigi and Lolita are delighted with the great number of cards he has received from friends and well-wishers. Get well cards for Gerry can be sent to Peter Wells at P.O. Box 221, Edgartown, MA. 02539, or they can be left with the Chappaquiddick ferry captain and Peter will make sure they are delivered.
