Actor John Sibi-Okumu, best known for his role in The Constant Gardner and Shake Hands With the Devil, will host a poetry reading at the Vineyard Haven Library on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.

He will read both his own poetry and some of his favorites, including some Kenyan poetry. Mr. Sibi-Okumu is also a journalist and helped edit and write the preface for a recent anthology of Kenyan verse.
