A West Tisbury man was found guilty Monday by a district court jury on a charge of open and gross lewdness.

A six-person jury found Scott E. Fielding, 25, guilty after a one-day trial. He was charged with a single count of open and gross lewdness, and was sentenced by Hon. J. Thomas Kirkman to two years in a house of correction, with 284 days of jail credit.

According to a police report, the court case stemmed from a May 2016 incident in which a woman reported that Mr. Fielding exposed himself to her in the sauna at the Mansion House.
