The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce gave out its 2016 business awards at an event held Oct. 19 at the Harbor View Hotel.

The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce gave out its 2016 business awards at an event held Oct. 19 at the Harbor View Hotel.

The awards, voted on by chamber members, include eight categories. Top winners include the Martha’s Vineyard Preservation Trust (making the Vineyard a better place), JB Blau and the Summercamp Hotel (community hero for saving the Oak Bluffs fireworks), and Dockside Inn (outstanding customer service).
