Early Voting Schedule for Martha's Vineyard

<p>For the first time this year, voters on Martha&rsquo;s Vineyard and across the state can choose to cast their ballots up to two weeks prior to election day on Nov. 8. The new procedures, as required by state law, aim to increase voter turnout and help alleviate long lines at polling stations.</p>

For the first time this year, voters on Martha’s Vineyard and across the state can choose to cast their ballots up to two weeks prior to election day on Nov. 8.

Early voting is available to all registered voters, with no appointment or explanation needed. Voting will take place from Oct. 24 to Nov. 4.

The schedule is as follows:

Aquinnah town offices:

Noon to 4 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, weeks of Oct. 24 through Nov. 4

Chilmark town hall:

8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, Oct. 24 through Nov. 4

Edgartown town hall 
(town clerk’s office):

8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, Oct. 24 through Nov. 4; and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 29

Oak Bluffs town hall (lower level):

8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, Oct. 24 through Nov. 4

Tisbury town hall 
(town clerk’s office):

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, Oct. 24 through Nov. 4

West Tisbury town hall:

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, Oct. 24 through Nov. 4
