The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard will hold its fifth annual Walk For The Animals has been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Edgartown School from 10 a.m. to noon. People are encouraged to come and walk any time during the two hours with or without their pet(s).

Donations are appreciated as well as sponsoring walkers. Any money raised helps keep the shelter, which serves the entire Island, open and operating.

The walk was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1 but moved to Oct. 2 because of the weather.
