Rev. Burns Stanfield, pastor of Fourth Presbyterian Church in South Boston, will lead the Union Chapel congregation in its season finale this Sunday, Sept. 4.

Reverend Stanfield comes from a home church which is diverse and has a strong community presence that includes music and arts programs, youth work, neighborhood voter turnout and food support for the many low-income families in the neighborhood. The sermon is entitled The Blessings of Strangers.

The service begins at 10 a.m. with a welcoming organ prelude beginning at 9:40 a.m. Union Chapel is located on Narragansett at the intersection with Kennebec and Circuit avenues.
