The Martha’s Vineyard Tick-Borne Illness Reduction Initiative will host a talk at the Chilmark Community Center on Tuesday, August 16.

As work remains ongoing with the Martha’s Vineyard Tick-Borne Illness Reduction Initiative and Lyme disease treatment and insurance coverage is in the news, a program of the six Island boards of health, program biologist Dick Johnson will make two presentations next week to update the public on the work.

Mr. Johnson will speak the Chilmark Community Center on Monday at 5 p.m., and at the Chappaquiddick Community Center on Tuesday, August 16 at 7 p.m.

The events are free.
