Five miles into the state forest I had a flat tire and discovered that walking a significant distance in rigid, tight-fitting bicycle shoes can be painful. Along came Ginny Dautreuil, state forest superintendent, in her patrol vehicle and offered me a ride. I am very grateful. My feet are particularly grateful. Thanks, Ginny!
