I was in New York city recently and was so moved by the outpouring of support for the gay community.

I was in New York city recently and was so moved by the outpouring of support for the Orlando massacre and gay community. The vision of the Pride flag in front of the West Tisbury Church was the only embrace of the community that I saw. Take time to be kind, compassionate, to all of our community; set an example, make a gesture. My daughter went to the Stonewall Inn in New York city, symbolic heart of LGBT for decades, to honor the lives lost. Her experience was a vigil so full of emotion, love and support. Let us all be better examples of humanity.
