Two seasonal residents of Edgartown have been named to the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital board of trustees.

Dr. Michael R. Jaff is medical director of the Paul & Phyllis Fireman Vascular Center at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Debra A. Burke associate chief nurse for women and children’s Services, mental health, the cancer center and community health nursing practice at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Congratulations to Dr. Michael R. Jaff. I have been rather fortunate to have been a patient of his for a few years now. However, my visits have to be at Massachusetts General Hospital as there is no longer any office space afforded him at Martha's Vineyard Hospital for those who have vascular disease to be seen on the Vineyard. May Dr. Jaff enjoy his time on the MVH Board of Trustees.
